Tamkeen and Bahrain Islamic Bank organised the Private Sector Enterprise Forum 2011. The Forum was attended by a number of business owners who benefited from Tamkeen's Finance Scheme that is carried out by the joint forces of BisB and Tamkeen.

The event was held to encourage business owners to develop and grow their businesses and make the most of what both Tamkeen and BisB, are providing to fund their enterprises.
"We are very pleased to see this Forum a reality as it forms but one step of our many significant steps to support entrepreneurs and business owners in the Kingdom in participation with Tamkeen," said BisB's CEO Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim, "This comes at the heart of our corporate mission being one of the leading banks in the market with innovative products and exclusive banking offerings that cater to the needs of all clients wishing to obtain a suitable capital to fund their business needs."
"Our role does not cease after the funding process, rather, we seek to give consultations and other facilities that will aid our beneficiaries. In the process, we have designed our corporate financing product to help those working in the private sector translate their business objectives going forward," Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim concluded, "We hope to see this Forum of benefit to our beneficiaries. It is also an ongoing joint initiative with Tamkeen which our clients of private sector owners will hopefully benefit from."

With regard to corporate support, Mr. Al Kooheji explained that "Tamkeen has introduced several schemes to support and finance business owners to make them able to achieve more success on the level of their commercial outcomes as we, at Tamkeen, believe in private sector support, which has become a landmark for all market economies in the developed countries within a vibrant economic cycle."

"I would also like to commend Bahrain Islamic Bank's role in this respect who have provided us with the support required to help serve the public." He added.
Wrapping up his comments, Mr. Al Kooheji said "The effective participation between Tamkeen and BisB is a partnership for the benefit of business owners.
