BisB Strategic Platinum Sponsor of the 7th World Conference of Islamic Investment Funds and Capital Markets

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BIsB) announced its platinum sponsorship of the 7th Annual World Conference of Islamic Investment Funds and Capital Markets to be held under the theme of “Achieving a Key international Status, Establishment of Vital Islamic Capital Markets and Revitalizing the Islamic Investment Sector” due to be held in the Kingdom during the period from 26 to 27th September, 2011 at the Gulf Hotel’s Convention Centre.
In a statement, Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed, BIsB Chief Executive Officer said: “Our sponsorship of this important banking conference that has attracted the participation of more than 400 delegates including Islamic banking experts and leaderships stems from our belief in the importance of vital banking events that reach recommendations, which contribute to the growth and development of the Islamic finance sector. Clearly it has come to play an effective role in the lives of individuals.”
Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed added: “The Conference will include holding exclusive discussion sessions for chief executives and leaders of Islamic banks throughout the world to analyze and review new strategies for bolstering growth on the Islamic capital markets, evaluation of the globalization of the Islamic investment market and discussing the major challenges of adapting business strategies to the new economic developments.
