BisB RECEIVES AWARD FOR BEST ISLAMIC BANKING WEBSITE IN 2010

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BiSB) has received an award for Best Islamic Banking Website 2010 at the annual ceremony organized the Arab Website Shield Award recently in Beirut, Lebanon. 

Receiving the award on behalf of the Bank was General Manager Retail Banking Services Mr. Abdul Rahman Turki, who said in a statement on this occasion: “We are pleased with this recognition that comes to highlight the excellence of our website (www.bisb.com) in terms of design and availability of all banking services making it very convenient for meeting requirements of our customers doing business online.” 

Mr. Turki added: “This achievement by the Bank for winning the Arab Website Award, which is a prominent and respected online organization, comes to confirm the successful policies and plans for development of online services for our esteemed customers, hence such plans have started to bear fruit.” 

Concluding, BiSB Retail Banking General Manager said: “Our win of this Award will motivate us to continue providing even better services for our customers and users of our website. This success will be a further incentive to continue offering all the facilities needed by customers online to ensure that we maintain the high quality of our services. We are indeed happy and thankful to the Arab Website Shield Award for this recognition which we dedicate for all the BiSB staff members who made such success possible.” 

It should be noted that BiSB website was selected to win this Award by a group of Arab Internet experts and professionals based on a number of fundamental criteria such as innovation, user friendly, website structure, interaction, visual design and content.
