Bahrain Islamic Bank Rewards Customers in the Medical Workforce During Outbreak

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has announced the launch of a new initiative as part of its efforts to support the Bahraini community, in which the Bank will be rewarding customers who are also members of the medical teams working on the front-lines in governmental hospitals and health centres,during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak that emerged in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The announcement was made bythe Chief Executive Officer of BisB, Mr. Hassan Amin Jarrar, via a video posted on the Bank’s Instagram feed on Wednesday, April 8.
As a gesture of gratitude for their solidarity and efforts in continuing to contain the spread of the outbreak, a total amount of BHD 30,000 has been dedicated towards this cause, in which the Bank will be rewarding these customers on the front-lines in acknowledgment of their efforts in treating COVID-19 patients and for going over and above the norm to keep the Bahraini community safe during this challenging period.
Mr.Jarrar affirmed BisB’s commitment to supporting the national efforts to contain the spread of the virus and minimise its impact on society and the economy. He stated, “It gives us great pleasure to launch this unique initiative in celebration of our valued customers who are dedicating long hours to serve and protect the community from the emerging virus. I am also pleased to pay tribute to the wise leadership on the success of the measures imposed by the Kingdom of Bahrain, to reduce the spread of the virus. We will continue to show solidarity and unity by joining hands with the nation to overcome the pandemic.”
Customers working in the aforementioned fields can submit the required data digitally through Bahrain Islamic Bank’s website www.bisb.com . The rewards offered by the Bank will be in the form of a cash deposit in the Tejoori Al Islami account, giving them the opportunity to qualify to win valuable cash prizes throughout the year.
