About the Initiative
Innovation Studio is a BisB initiative, in partnership with Visa and Innovate for Bahrain. The program aims to support and empower Bahraini fashion and jewelry designers to innovate and create.
Prizes: Two Winners, Two Experiences
It offers specialized training, mentorship, and opportunities to win valuable prizes and unique global experiences.

4-day New York experience with Reem Acra. - Jewelry:
4-day UK experience at Van Cleef & Arpels Factory.

Who Can Apply
- Bahraini nationals
- Aged 21 or above
- Applicants must hold a BisB Visa Card (debit or credit)

How to Participate
- Submit your application through the BisB website.
- 10 participants will be shortlisted (5 per category).
- Receive mentorship and training on business planning, design techniques, and presentation skills.
- Pitch Day for finalists, where 6 participants (3 per category) will move to the final stage.
- Final showcase and awards ceremony at Marassi Galleria.
- Winners embark on international experiences.
Design Challenge: Where Heritage Meets Modern Elegance
Submit a fashion or jewelry sketch inspired by Bahrain’s cultural heritage and modern sophistication.
Your design should merge traditional Bahraini motifs with contemporary style and a touch of sustainability.
- Fashion Category:
Create a modern outfit that blends minimalist design with Bahraini-inspired embroidery, fabric patterns, or silhouettes, while incorporating sustainable materials or production methods. - Jewelry Category:
Design a statement piece — such as a necklace, ring, bracelet, or accessory — that reimagines Bahraini symbolism through modern, eco-conscious materials and clean, refined lines. - Target Market:
Your design should appeal to a modern, style-conscious audience that values authenticity, quality, sustainability, and cultural storytelling.
Submission Requirements:
- Submit one sketch (hand-drawn or digital).
- Include a short description (100–150 words) explaining your concept and connection to Bahraini heritage and sustainability.
- You may include colors, materials, and inspiration photos (architecture, landscapes, traditional patterns, etc.).
- Submissions can be presented as a PowerPoint, PDF, JPEG, or PNG file.
- Optional: Add a mood board to express your creative direction.
