Tejoori Al Islami To Reward Its Customers with Prizes of More Than $ 3,000,000 in 2016

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has announced the launch of its new promotion campaign for Tejoori Al Islami Account for the year 2016, which has so far made major successes since its launch in 2008.

Tejoori  Al Islami Account will appear for the Bank's customers in 2016 in a new look featuring a number of surprises and  exclusive prizes which will be given as rewards by the bank for the account customers, with a total amount of more than $ 3,000,000 in prizes to customers. They will include weekly, grand and in-kind prizes and will cover different categories of the society, particularly females.

Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Abdul Rahman Mohammed Turki, General Manager, Retail Banking Services, said: "We are very thrilled to launch the new promotion campaign for Tejoori Al Islami Account for the year 2016, through which we will offer a new array of different cash prizes and surprises which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the life of the lucky winners."

"Building on the continued success of the Tejoori Al Islami Account and the increasing satisfaction with, and demand for it, by the customers year after year, it is becoming imperative for us to continue to offer new and exclusive prizes and surprises which our customers rightly deserve. The most impressive rewards this year will be prizes totalling more than $ 3,000,000, which is an enormous amount thankfully allocated to the customers by the bank's management for the first time in the bank's history. These prizes will include a total of 6 prizes, a draw for which will take place every three months, with a total amount of $ 600,000, and a total of 13 weekly prizes for which draws will be held every Sunday, with a total amount of $ 35,000 every week. This is in addition to surprises and prizes which will be announced later in the year," Mr. Turki added.

"Tejoori Al Islami Account has undergone positive changes this year. For example, we have changed one of the criteria of eligibility for entry to draws. However, in the year 2016, and to benefit the largest number of customers possible, we have reduced the tenor to 7 days only," he said.

Mr. Turki  that prizes are offered by the account for its customers from the platinum category which includes customers who have maintained their account for over 5 years with a number of 20 certificates or those customers who have a minimum of 500 certificates, prizes offered to female depositors under the "Tejoori Laha Category" and prizes offered to its non-Bahraini customers from the "Tejoori for Expatriates" segment. In addition, the bank has introduced a new segment of customers from among Commercial Registration holders, namely "Tejoori Commercial," by providing them with more opportunities to win valuable prizes during the weekly draws.

Concluding his statement, Mr. Abdul Rahman Turki said: "Tejoori Al Islamic Account customers will have more opportunities of winning under each of these segments of customers listed under the account.
