In Conjunction with the Bank’s Back-to-School Campaign..BisB Partners with Eastern Bakery and Fine Foods to Launch Future Leaders Youth Outreach Product Awards
05-October-2025
Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of innovative Islamic financial solutions for simplifying money matters in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has partnered with Eastern Bakery and Fine Foods to support its Future Leaders programme during its annual Back-to-School campaign. The collaboration will drive financial engagement among students and educators across seven major schools in Bahrain, with dedicated benefits for Future Leaders cardholders or wristbands.
As part of the initiative, BisB will offer exclusive promotions through Eastern Bakery, which currently operates 14 school canteens serving over 8,000 students and 1,000 teachers. The campaign forms part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to help Bahrain’s youth develop financial awareness and spending discipline from an early age.

Starting from 1st October till 31st March 2026, Future Leader cardholders or wristbands will enjoy a 10% instant discount at Eastern Bakery and Fine Foods outlets outside school canteens, in addition to a monthly cashback of 10%, capped at BD 5, when spending within school canteens. Students will also be automatically entered into a prize draw when they spend BD 50 or more at school canteens between 1st October and 31st December 2025. In December, three winners will be announced, each receiving a cash prize of BHD 100. To encourage more students to benefit from this service, Eastern Bakery will offer a special promotional code that waives the issuance fee for new applicants of the “Future Leaders” wristband.
The campaign spans canteens across the following schools: St. Christopher’s School, Ibn Khuldoon National School, American School of Bahrain, International School of Creative Science, Arabian Pearl Gulf School, Modern Knowledge School, and Quest School Bahrain.
Mr. Faisal Al Abdulla, Chief Retail Banking Officer, stated, “This partnership enables us to integrate our Future Leader cashless payment solution into students’ daily routines in a meaningful and rewarding way. By offering tangible financial benefits in familiar settings such as school canteens, we aim to promote financial independence and encourage responsible spending habits through Sharia’a compliant tools designed for Bahraini youth.”
Mr. Hasan Zuhair Mahmood, Head of Marketing & Communication at Hasan & Habib Sons of Mahmood Group, said, “Eastern Bakery has always focused on providing quality service to the school community. Through this collaboration, we are adding extra value to students and families by aligning with a trusted partner like BisB. It is an opportunity to merge convenience with financial empowerment in a space where it can truly make a difference.”
The initiative reflects BisB’s ongoing commitment to empowering youth through practical financial tools, while advancing social responsibility and accessibility in Islamic banking.
