BisB Launches Awareness Initiatives to Support Women’s Health During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of innovative Islamic financial services for simplifying money matters in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched a series of awareness initiatives throughout October as part of its ongoing efforts to promote breast cancer awareness and support women's health.

As part of these initiatives, the Bank’s Social Committee organized an educational seminar in collaboration with the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions and the Bahrain Bankers Union. The seminar was presented by Dr. Mariam Al Junaidi, Consultant General Breast Surgery and Reconstruction, who highlighted the importance of early detection and preventive measures, emphasizing the necessity of regular screenings and fostering a culture of health awareness among female employees and the wider community.

In addition, BisB offered complimentary medical check-up consultations packages to its female customers throughout the month, in partnership with the American Mission Hospital, along with the annual free check-up it provides for its female employees, reflecting its commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare.

This approach aligns with BisB’s vision to empowering women and promote enhancing community health through sustainable initiatives that focus on prevention and support, reinforcing a culture of health responsibility both within and beyond the workplace.
