BISB introduces “Rising Stars” leadership program

As part of its continuous efforts in enhancing staff leadership skills, BisB has introduced its “Rising Stars Program”, a six-month internal leadership-training program designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of key individuals within the organization. The “Rising Stars Program” is part of BisB’s “Ishraq” Back to Basics internal transformation strategy which focuses on optimizing and developing aspects of the bank’s business, it’s people and processes with an aim to grow the Bank’s foundations and achieve its vision and mission.

“Our people are the front lines of our business and we’re committed to their training and development. Investing in people and talent is a core pillar of the “Ishraq” strategy, one that will grow a solid foundation as the Bank moves forward.” Said Mr. Hassan Amin Jarrar, the CEO of BISB.

The initiative is part of a series of activities and programs planned under the Ishraq pillar of “Investing in talent and people”.

“BISB has partnered with training experts to enhance our employees’ growth and offer them the potential become the banks’ future leaders. Ensuring leadership competencies are not only understood but implemented on a daily basis is paramount to succession planning and our promotion strategies. ” Added Mr. Dawood Al Ashhab, AGM, HR and Services of BISB.

The program includes the most up-to-date research on effective leadership from the world’s top business schools along with local case studies to develop each participant’s leadership skills and knowledge. BISB has partnered with Dr. Beckett Mclnroy from BMC and Mr. Adi Breuer (PCC, CPCC) to ensure the participants success in this program.
