BisB Continues Its Annual Iftar Distribution Initiative Across Bahrain

23-March-2025

In line with its ongoing efforts to promote volunteerism and community solidarity, the "Jood" voluntary team at Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) organized its annual "Iftar on the Road" initiative. Iftar meals were distributed to drivers and road users on several main streets across various governorates of Bahrain on Friday, March 21, 2025.

This initiative reflects the bank's commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to supporting the community by fostering a culture of giving and compassion. It also highlights the spirit of cooperation that defines the Bahraini community and reinforces values of goodwill and humanitarianism during the holy month.

This year, the initiative resulted in the distribution of more than 1,500 Iftar meals, supported by active participation from BisB volunteers who were eager to extend a helping hand and create a positive impact throughout Ramadan. To further reinforce its commitment to sustainability, the Bank used eco-friendly packaging, aligning the initiative with environmental responsibility standards.

The Jood voluntary team was established in March 2019, comprises BisB employees who contribute to society through various volunteering programs, reflecting the Bank’s broader commitment to social responsibility.
