Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) is proud to announce its sponsorship of the “24th World Islamic Banking Conference” for ‘Drivers of Economic Growth and Risks: Policy Makers & Regulators’ from December 4th to 6th, 2017 held at Art Rotana Hotel, Amwaj Island. This conference is a key event in bringing together world leaders of Islamic Banking.

The conference will attracts over 1,300 world-renowned leaders, experts, and bank representatives from over 50 countries. 70 high-level speakers and 95 partners, sponsors and exhibitors will represent the Islamic finance sector from Bahrain and internationally to discuss the impact of the growing digital age; the strength and development of the Islamic economy; Islamic banking; electronic banking and modern digital technologies required to stay competitive; the needs of advanced customers; and dynamic capital markets - bonds, sustainable growth and consolidation through Islamic finance.

During the second day of the conference, the discussion panel will include Mr Hassan Jarrar, Chief Executive Officer of BisB, and a number of executives from local and regional banks, addressing the issues of the increasing market share and geographical impact of Islamic banks.
