Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) appoints Head of Marketing, Brand and Corporate Communications

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), announced the appointment of Mr. Mahmood Qannati, as Head of Marketing, Brand and Corporate Communications.
Mr. Qannati has over 17 years of extensive local and regional experience in marketing, communication and brand management in various industries including banking, telecommunications, automotive and aviation.
Over the past seven years, Mr. Qannati held several senior positions at Standard Chartered Bank, where he was Regional Head of Marketing Services and Middle East Chief Marketing Officer at Cigna Insurance based in the United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Qannati holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Information Systems from the University of Sunderland and a Bachelor degree in Marketing from the University of Bahrain. He will be an active member of the Bank’s management team and will develop the Bank’s corporate communications and marketing strategy.

With his extensive international experience, mixed with valuable local knowledge in various economic sectors in the region and Bahrain, he will strengthen further our corporate communications and marketing capabilities.”
