BisB Relief Measures

In light of the current circumstances faced by us all in combatting the COVID 19 global pandemic, at BisB we are striving to support our retail and corporate customers by offering various relief measures to help lessen their financial burdens. We urge our customers to take full advantage of BisB’s digital platforms and minimise visits to the branches to reduce the risk of exposure.

jarrar-bisbFollowing the National directives, for all Bahraini customers who have already applied for personal, mortgage and auto-financing solutions by 19 March 2020 or before, they will automatically receive a six-month deferral of installments without any fees, profit or increase in profit rate, unless the borrower agrees to a shorter period or does not wish to avail any deferral. In the latter case, please do send an official request either email at callcentre@bisb.com, or through BisB Digital or by contacting BisB on 17515151 before 30 April 2020. Customers interested in applying for new personal and auto financing solutions will be granted a six-month grace period as well.

As for credit card holders, the required minimum monthly payment will be set to zero from March until August 2020 and late payment or over-limit fees will not apply for this time period. We have also introduced support initiatives for our corporate customers. As for our existing customers that apply for any new drawdown, you will automatically receive up to six months grace period and be offered the same on their existing facilities.

At BisB, we have been continuously engaging with our customers in an effort to analyse and assess their liquidity status, our Relationship Managers remain on standby to advise and guide clients through relief solutions suitable to their cash flow. We would like to remind you that our corporate mobile application, BisB Corporate Digital is available to all existing customers, and enables quick and easy access to multiple functions enabling banking transactions to be completed digitally eliminating the need to visit branches.
