COVID-19 is a global pandemic that requires the collective action of us all. As with any crisis situation, it can lead to panic and the spread of fear. But it can also go to show the level of human kindness as people volunteer their time, and both individuals and entities extend gestures of goodwill. To begin with, we would like to take this moment to praise the guidance of the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the efforts of the government and Ministry of health.  Our Kingdom’s precautionary measures to combat COVID-19 and protect the public health of our communities have been accordingly commended by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Our gratitude goes out to all the hospitals, to every staff member, and every doctors and nurse which have been working overtime to curb the spread of this disease. We live at a time where we have live updates of how countries are handling this global pandemic around the world, we have seen the memes, we have heard the stories of people who have offered to help the elderly by doing their groceries, stories of solidarity as people who are quarantined join together in song and dance from across their balconies to celebrate the spirit of human solidarity. Yes we ought to practice social distancing, and take the health precautions that have been advised as individuals of a community, or employees at workplace to minimise the likelihood of transmission and its domino impact on society.

At BisB, in line with the directives our wise leadership and the CBB, during this difficult time, we will be supporting the community at large in key areas across our business. We are providing a series of relief measures to our retail and corporate customers to help ease their financial burden. We recognize the need to protect those most vulnerable during this global pandemic and are committed to lending a helping hand to those who need it.
