BisB’s initiative to reward its customers who are members of the medical teams working on the front-lines in governmental hospitals and health centers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) announces the launch of a new initiative as part of its efforts to reward its customers who are also members of the medical teams working on the front-line in governmental hospitals and health centers, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak that emerged in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

As a gesture of gratitude for their efforts, BisB will be dedicating a total amount of BD30,000 (the amount for each customer will be determined by the Bank’s management in coordination with the concerned parties) in which the Bank will be rewarding its customers on the front-lines in support of their efforts in treating COVID-19 patients and for going over and above to keep the Bahraini community safe during this challenging period. These include the medical staff (Bahraini & none Bahraini doctors and nurses) who are working in the governmental hospitals and health centers.

Customers working in the mentioned fields who wish to register for this initiative to receive a cash deposit in Tejoori Al Islami account, giving them the opportunity to qualify to win valuable cash prizes throughout the year, can send the following documents to Initiatives@bisb.com :

  • Full name (as printed in the ID card).
  • ID number.
  • Mobile number.
  • Workplace (customer to specify the name of the hospital or health center along with the department/role where he/she are in direct contact with COVID-19 patients)
  • A copy of a valid ID card.
  • A copy of a valid passport.
  • A copy of the medical ID card or any official document stating the profession of the customer within the medical workforce and the workplace.

Important Information:

  1. The deadline for receiving applications from customers who wish to participate in this initiative is Wednesday, 15 April 2020.
  2. Applications for existing customers registered in the bank’s database until April 7, 2020 will only be accepted to take part in this initiative.
  3. A dedicated committee in coordination with the concerned authorities will review the applications submitted by customers. Customers will then be informed of whether their application has been approved or rejected via SMS messages.
  4. The cash amount will be determined by the aforementioned committee, and customers will be informed about it once their application has been approved.
  5. A Tejoori account will be opened for customers who have been accepted to take part in this initiative. As for customers who already have a Tejoori account, the prize will be deposited into their account immediately following the approval of their application.
  6. Customers with approved applications can withdraw the amount from their Tejoori accounts.
