BisB and Eskan Bank Launch "Tasheel Plus" Housing Financing at Innovation Housing Summit & Conference 2025

In line with its strategic commitment to supporting national housing initiatives across the Kingdom, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of Islamic digital banking services in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has signed a strategic agreement with Eskan Bank. This agreement will provide housing financing for citizens under " Tasheel+" financing program recently launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in collaboration with Eskan Bank.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the the Innovation Housing Summit & Conference 2025, currently being held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sakhir from April 23-25.

Under this agreement, eligible citizens will be able to benefit from the " Tasheel+" program by obtaining immediate mortgage financing services from BisB. These services will be Sharia-compliant and specifically designed to offer easy and convenient financing solutions, meeting the needs of Bahraini families in acquiring their dream homes with swift & easy approvals.

During the Innovation Housing Summit & Conference 2025 period at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, citizens benefiting from the " Tasheel+" program will have the opportunity to receive financing approval for their housing units in just 5 minutes. They can visit the bank's booth at the exhibition to know more about the features of the Sharia-compliant financing, which covers 100% of the housing unit's purchase price. Additional benefits include free life and fire insurance coverage, a grace period of up to 6 months for instalment payments, payment of electricity and water bills for a full year, and free internet service for a full year. Flexible refinancing up to 30 years are also available.

This agreement is part of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank's plan to expand the financing options and housing solutions available to citizens. The recently launched " Tasheel+" program offers numerous new features for citizens seeking immediate housing financing services. The maximum financing amount offered by this new option is BD 91,000, and citizens with a monthly income of no less than BD600, and not more than BD1,200 can benefit from this financing option to obtain housing. The financing amount will be determined based on the applicant's monthly income at the time of application.
