What is the BisB eCard?

eCard is the electronic payment card from BisB. The eCard offers you unprecedented flexibility and user-friendliness in completing online transactions. With pre-paid and a preset (credit limit enabled) versions of the card, you can choose the card that is ideal for you and have high security on your online spending. With your BisB eCard you can also complete payment transactions over the telephone.

The eCard is supported by BisB’s highly secure online banking network. Through BisB’s easy to use online banking portal you can top-up your online account instantly, allowing you the flexibility to use the card at any time you require.


 
Prepaid BisB eCard

The Prepaid BisB eCard allows you to transfer any amount of money you choose, into your eCard. You may use the amount in your eCard for online and telephone transactions.

Once the amount is over you may directly transfer money from your BisB Account to your BisB eCard through BisB Internet Banking Portal. You may also walk in to any one of our branches and refill your BisB eCard. Cash will be recognized in the same day.

Preset BisB eCard

The preset BisB eCard is similar to a credit card. The preset eCard gives the option of having a credit limit of BD50 to BD500 The preset eCard is also supported by BisB Internet Banking portal through which you may transfer money from your BisB account to settle your eCard bills, check the status and summary of your online transactions.

Cover Terms:

Flight Delay

  1. All expenses are defined as expenses for meals and lodging which were necessarily incurred and which were not provided by the Common Carrier or any other party free of charge.
  2. Strike, Industrial Action, Inclement Weather, and Equipment Failure that delays any flight are not covered.

Baggage Delay

  1. Written proof of delay from the transport provider must be submitted with any claim and subject to receiving original receipts
  2. The baggage delay must exceed the Excess
  3. Confiscation or requisition by customs or other government authority cannot form the basis of a claim for Loss or expenses.
  4. Claims in respect of essential clothing or requisites purchased as a result of delayed baggage will only be considered if terms have been purchased within 4 days after the actual arrival time at the intended destination.
  5. If baggage appears to be delayed at the destination airport, the insured person must formally notify the relevant carrier airline immediately. Evidence of notification must be provided.

Trip Cancelation

Cases will be accepted if the trip was canceled as a result of the following:

  1. Dying, becoming ill or injured
  2. The death, injury or illness of a relative or a person with whom the insured has booked the travel
  3. If the insured has been called for a jury service or attending the court as a witness
  4. If the police or the insurers of the insured person home needs the insured person to stay after a fire, flood or burglary at the insured home within 48 hours before the date of leaving
  5. The death, injury or sickness of a relative certified as being significantly harmful to life by a Physician in the insured person country of residence.

Trip Interruption

  1. The Insured Person’s death or death of a relative
  2. In case of injury or sickness to the insured person, a physician has recommended that due to the severity of the insured person’s condition it is Medically Necessary that the insured person interrupts the Trip.
  3. In case of injury or sickness of a Relative, the severity or acuteness of their of their condition or the circumstances surrounding that condition is/are such the an ordinary prudent person must interrupt the Trip
