What is the BisB Invesment Deposit Account?  

BisB’s Investment Deposit Account is a high return account that enables the customer to deposit a fixed sum of money in the Bank throughout the year and for fixed periods (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months and 3 years) with substantial returns before end of the period. The Bank invests such funds and profits are distributed in accordance with the Islamic Shari'a laws as per the agreement signed between the two parties.
 
   
What are the features of this account?  

The account may be opened in Bahraini Dinars or any of the major foreign currencies listed by the bank.
  • Special Term Deposit: Minimum amount of deposit is BHD50,000 or equivalent.
  • Normal Term Deposit (NTD):  Minimum amount of deposit is BHD1,000 or equivalent.
  • Long Term Deposit (LTD): Minimum amount of deposit is BHD1,000 or equivalents fixed for three years.
The customer will be given a deposit certificate showing the investment amount, date of investment and maturity date. The deposit will automatically renew for a similar period unless instruction is revived before maturity.
